WHERE WE STARTED

Anny Nasser, owner of Kinder Kampus sitting on a chair

Hello! My name is Anny Nasser and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with over 32 years of experience in the childcare field. I am certified through AECEO and hold the AECEO.C designation. I also have a BA in Political Science from York University.

In 1988, when our son was one, we moved to Meadowvale from Toronto and I happened to see a “help wanted” sign for a local daycare on Millcreek. I applied for the RECE position as the K-class teacher little knowing that my destiny was being shaped. In August 1991, my husband and I bought the Centre and our Kinder Kampus journey began. Both our children grew up within the Kinder Kampus family.

The critical aspect of nurturing young minds, being an important part of their development and positively impacting their lives is a responsibility that my staff and I take seriously. At Kinder Kampus, we are totally committed to providing optimal care and a safe and secure learning environment for all the children in our care.

Hi, I’m Deborah Beckett. I graduated from George Brown College with my diploma in Early Childhood Education in 1995. My Kinder Kampus journey began in 1997 as a preschool teacher and shortly thereafter, I became the Supervisor. I have completed all of the required post graduate courses for Supervisors and Administrators from Sheridan College. Not only do I have 25 plus years of experience in childcare, I have the privilege of being the mother of three beautiful girls - each of whom attended Kinder Kampus.

I am proud to be the Supervisor of Millcreek Kinder Kampus and the Operations Manager for both our locations. I strongly believe it is important to continually upgrade my skills and expand my knowledge . As such, I network with other supervisors in the community to share ideas and best practices.

I continually Enroll in courses to gain new perspectives and practical ideas to enhance our Centres. Every year, I surpass the number of required professional development hours and I encourage and support my staff to do the same. I have been honored to receive the recognition as a Lifelong Learning Champion from Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP).

My staff and I look forward to welcoming you into our program!

At Kinder Kampus…

We focus on the development of the whole child—cognitively, socially, emotionally and physically. We partner with parents and caregivers to prepare children to live and function in society and to achieve their full potential.

We provide a learning focused program that  encourages exploration and participation while focusing on the individual child’s curiosity and experience. By combining learning with fun, we challenge the children and stimulate their interests to promote development.

Our Philosophy

Building self-esteem through encouragement! We believe everything is possible if you believe in yourself. At Kinder Kampus we develop a child’s self-esteem through  consistent encouragement. This increases a child’s self confidence and motivates them to do their best, helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Our Mission

Diversity, inclusivity and love of learning. We strive to provide the best learning experiences possible. To do so, our facilities  always facilitate and encourage diversity and inclusivity. A safe space is not only about physical safety (which is paramount at Kinder Kampus), but also about emotional well-being. We strive to create a space for children to learn and grow as a whole—cognitively, emotionally and spiritually—and in doing so, help them associate these positive experiences to learning, creating a life-long love of learning in every child.

I hear, I forget.

I see, I remember.

I do, I know!

I hear,

I see,
I remember.

I do,
I know!

Our Promise to Families

We promise to be loving, supportive and always encourage the children entrusted in our care to grow and learn. To create diverse, inclusive environments. To make learning fun and foster positive experiences in early childhood, setting the foundation for lifelong learning.
